City of Tucker Continues Proactive Code Enforcement Strategy

TUCKER, Ga. (May 17, 2017) – Tucker’s city government is keeping a promise to residents with its professional, proactive Code Enforcement efforts. The latest example of those efforts came Tuesday when a Code Enforcement team from City Hall conducted a sweep at the Wilshire Condominiums on E. Ponce de Leon Avenue.

This sweep was an effort to ensure that grounds were properly maintained and that condominium structure, exterior property areas and common spaces were in good condition. Any notices of violation will be presented to the condominium property management, who will have an opportunity to correct violations. If not addressed, citations will be issued with a court date.

“The City is making sure that our apartment complexes are being maintained well for residents and the community,” explained Community and Economic Development Director John McHenry.

Tuesday’s was the first of a series of sweeps Code Enforcement has planned for apartment and condominium complexes in the City. Tucker residents or business owners who would like to make a Code Enforcement complaint can either call City Hall at (470) 273-3093 or email at codecompliance@tuckerga.gov.
