The Communications Department keeps the community informed and engaged through numerous vehicles including social media. They interface with citizens and other stakeholders to answer specific questions and concerns. They organize and manage special events, cultivating new ways to use these events as opportunities to reach residents with City messaging.
Sonja oversees the City’s print, online and social media, as well as video production. A leader in the Tucker cityhood movement, she also handles all inquiries from media outlets and distributes press releases on newsworthy issues.
Cheryl works with Tucker residents and business owners to address any questions or complaints they may have. She coordinates with state and county departments, as well as at public utilities to ensure that whatever issue someone may have, she knows how to get action.
