Tucker’s Mayor and City Council finished up March business on Monday, holding a special called meeting at City Hall.
The special called meeting had three quick agenda items including two second reads of text amendments to update the City code. The first further defined the prohibition of improper parking in designated spaces for people with disabilities and the second updated the code concerning alcoholic beverages in retail establishments allowing for tastings with restrictions. Both passed 6-0.
Council finished its business at the special called meeting by approving a contract award for lighting upgrades at Fitzgerald Park Field #3 with a 6-0.
The next meeting of the Mayor and City Council will take place on Monday April 11 at 7 p.m. at City Hall (1975 Lakeside Parkway, Suite 350B).
