TUCKER, Ga. (July 23, 2019) – Finding Dory will make a splash Saturday night, as the beloved Disney/Pixar classic hits the big screen for Tucker’s first-ever Dive-In Movie at Kelley Cofer Park Pool. The free screening will begin at sunset with gates opening at 8 p.m.
“Through summer camps and July 4th celebrations, we’ve showcased our renovated swimming facility in several ways. We’re excited to add this Dive-In Movie to the mix,” said Tucker Recreation Leader Joe Stewart.
The pool will keep regular hours Saturday for paid customers from 12-8 p.m. After 8 o’clock, moviegoers will be able to enter the pool for free. Because of space restrictions, capacity will be limited to 150 people for the movie.
Lifeguards will be on hand and special pool lighting will be deployed to ensure safety during the film. Moviegoers may bring fun noodles or single-person inner tubes to float in the pool. Parks staff will provide free popcorn and drinks to those in attendance.
Released in 2016, Finding Dory is among the most beloved animated films of all-time, grossing more than $1 billion in worldwide release.
