TUCKER, Ga. (November 1, 2017) – Community groups in the City of Tucker now have a new place to announce and publicize their events after the City introduced its Community Calendar on Wednesday. The calendar will be open to civic organizations, schools and faith-based groups in the City, allowing them to upload their own events for all to see.
“This calendar differs from the one residents have long seen on the City homepage,” explains City-Community Connector Sonja Szubski. “Instead of standard City meetings, users of the Community Calendar will have a one-stop spot to find out all the great community and volunteer events that happen each week across Tucker.”
The new Community Calendar can be found on the City homepage under the “Calendars” tab at the top of the page. Its goal is to better connect Tucker stakeholders and to reflect to those outside the City the impressive level of involvement within the community.
