InTucker Magazine Wins National Award

intuckerDENVER, Co. (September 5, 2019) – The City of Tucker’s monthly magazine was named one of the best in the nation on Thursday at the 3CMA Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado. InTucker  was bestowed with the Silver Circle Award in the Best External Publication Award.

“We are excited to bring such a prestigious honor home to Tucker,” said Tucker’s Communications Director Matt Holmes, who also serves as editor of the magazine. “Each month, this magazine gives us a platform to keep our citizens informed, while telling their amazing stories. It’s gratifying to see those stories receive this kind of recognition.”

Launched in 2017, InTucker began as a six-page newsletter, before expanding to an eight-page format. At the start of 2019, the magazine got a facelift, which included bigger, richer photography, new design elements and twice the content that was previously offered. Now a full 16 page magazine, it is distributed in print and digitally to thousands of people around Tucker each month.

The City-County Communications & Marketing Association (3CMA) is the nation’s premiere network of local government communicators. The organization was founded in 1988 on the philosophy that communications and marketing are essential to helping governments engage and build stronger relationships with their residents. Their annual awards honor the best in government communications for communities across the United States and Canada.
