More Businesses Prepare to Open Their Doors at Tucker Meridian

Ross Dress for Less, TuckerTUCKER, Ga. (June 14, 2017) – With several major retailers already doing big business, Tucker Meridian Shopping Center is preparing for another wave of openings later this summer and in the fall.

The final anchor store, Ross Dress for Less, has announced a grand opening date of July 15 at 9 a.m. The apparel giant is currently hiring for staff at the new Tucker location. Ross will join Sprouts Farmers Market, Dick’s Sporting Goods, DSW and Hobby Lobby as anchor tenants for the development.

Several restaurants are working toward their openings, as well. Newk’s Eatery, Jimmy John’s and a joint Einstein Bros./Caribou Coffee will all open locations at Tucker Meridian. The plan is for those businesses to open in late summer or early fall.

“Shoppers from around Metro Atlanta are already enjoying the offerings at Meridian,” said Tucker’s Economic Development Director John McHenry. “As a city, we’re thrilled at the hundreds of permanent jobs that are being created here. The opening of this dynamic power center is just the first step in a series of scheduled developments slated to occur in the Northlake corridor.”

Located on I-285 at the intersection of Lavista Road and Northlake Parkway in the City of Tucker, the Tucker Meridian Shopping Center is sparking a wave of residential development and traffic improvements in the area. The project, developed by Ben F. Kushner, has stayed on schedule, with groundbreaking taking place just last October.
