Manufacturing Day 2021TUCKER, Ga. (June 30, 2021) – After a postponement in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic, the City of Tucker is ready to host its 2021 Manufacturing Day on August 25 at Stone Ridge Event Center. The event, which takes participants behind the scenes of Tucker’s busy industrial corridors, will feature insights from local and state business and real estate leaders.

“This is really a summit of some of the top players in the metro Atlanta region,” said Tucker Assistant City Manager and Economic Development Director John McHenry. “We are excited to have these folks come to Tucker to meet our industrial business owners and hear their stories of how Tucker’s manufacturing sector is thriving in spite of the pandemic.”

The day will begin with a pair of panels moderated by Tucker’s mayor, Frank Auman. The first panel will feature local manufacturers sharing the stories of their success. A second panel will focus on workforce, with guests ranging from Decide DeKalb Development Authority to the Metro Chamber. Following the panels, participants will be transported to several industrial facilities around the City, giving them a firsthand opportunity to see manufacturing in action in Tucker.

To attend Tucker’s 2021 Manufacturing Day, participants can sign up on the City website starting on July 12. Stone Ridge Event Center is located at 1750 Stone Ridge Drive.
