LIVSEY ELEMENTARY
• Livsey celebrated Read Across America Week March 1-5 and had an amazing Virtual Book Character Dress Up Day where students were able to dress as their favorite storybook characters. Students enjoyed coming to class dressed up and sharing their favorite books.
SMOKE RISE ELEMENTARY
• Members of the community can celebrate the new Smoke Rise Elementary School building by purchasing a commemorative brick. Bricks will be placed at the entrance of the new school and displayed for years to come. If interested, please place your order at bricksrus.com/donorsite/smokerise. The deadline is May 31.
TUCKER MIDDLE
• Jadon Macon and Jacqueline Garcia (7th grade) and Demyiah Royal (6th grade) all took first place at the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) state competition. By virtue of their first place finishes, they will all advance to the National FCCLA competition in July. FCCLA chapter sponsor, Mrs. Christine Mayfield, led the program to an Honor Roll award for the seventh straight year.
