IDLEWOOD ELEMENTARY
• Students were honored at the Virtual Awards Day Programs during the week of May 17. They finished out the week with Virtual Fun Day Activities on May 21.
LIVSEY ELEMENTARY
• Third-grade classes have been studying food insecurity in their STEM unit. As a result, during the month of May the third graders hosted a food drive, collecting canned goods, plastic peanut butter jars, crackers and more.
MIDVALE ELEMENTARY
• Midvale’s fifth-grade students participated in the Eradicating Erosion Game Design Challenge, a Georgia Tech sponsored event for Georgia STEM Day. Two teams from Midvale brought home accolades, including Most Creative Pitch and Most Creative Game Design.
TUCKER MIDDLE
• Dr. Kathy Cunningham was bestowed one of the highest honors in the DeKalb County School District being named Region II Principal of the Year.
TUCKER HIGH
