City of Tucker Launching Business License Blitz

Tucker Business License BlitzTUCKER, Ga. (March 11, 2019) – With the deadline approaching to submit Tucker occupational tax renewal forms, the City’s Finance staff is gearing up for an influx of customers this week. Calling it their “Business License Blitz”, the City will have additional staffers available to sit down with business owners this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to answer any questions and provide assistance in completing their occupational tax form.

“The deadline to submit the renewal form is this Friday,” said Finance Manager Cynthia Strozier, “and we know that’s a source of stress for some of our business owners. We want to make this as easy as possible for them to come in, ask questions and make sure they avoid any late penalties.”

The Finance staff will be set up inside the City Council Chambers (4228 First Avenue) from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on March 13-15. They will have computer stations available so that business owners can create their online profiles and learn how to renew their occupational tax through the City’s secure portal. This is the first year the City of Tucker has offered online occupational tax renewals. To renew online or learn more about the process, business owners can visit www.tuckerga.gov/licenses.

Once a renewal form has been submitted, an invoice will be processed and sent to the business for payment before the April 15 deadline. Business owners who have already submitted their renewal forms should be receiving invoices this month.
