PURPOSE
This form authorizes the DeKalb County Police Department to enforce the City of Tucker’s loitering ordinance (Sec. 30-93) on the private property listed below. This authorization allows officers to take enforcement actions, including issuing citations, on behalf of the property owner or manager.
AUTHORIZATION
By signing below, I authorize the DeKalb County Police Department to enforce the Tucker City Loitering Ordinance (Sec. 30-93) on the above-listed property. I understand and agree to the following:
1. I will ensure “No Loitering” signage is posted in a clearly visible location on the premises.
2. I understand that law enforcement officers are authorized to ask loiterers to leave, issue citations, or take additional enforcement action as permitted by law.
3. I agree to cooperate with any investigations or legal proceedings that may result from enforcement actions on my property.
This authorization remains valid until revoked in writing and submitted to the DeKalb County Police Department Community Policing Unit at DKPDCPU@dekalbcountyga.gov.
