SENIORS: TRIVIA KICKOFF
Enjoy a lively team trivia session filled with fun questions, friendly competition, and prizes. A great opportunity to socialize and stay engaged.

TEMPLE TOUR: BAPS SHRI SWAMINARAYAN MANDIR
Take a guided tour of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Lilburn, a stunning architectural landmark built with Turkish limestone, Italian marble, and Indian pink sandstone. Completed in 2007 after 17 months and over 1.3 million volunteer hours, the Mandir features more than 34,000 handcarved stone pieces assembled like a 3-D puzzle. Lunch will follow at a nearby location. Transportation will be provided.

YOUTH BASKETBALL
Hit the court this season and bring your game to life! The Youth Basketball League is designed to help players grow their skills, build confidence, and experience the excitement of team play in a fun and supportive environment. From first-time players to experienced athletes, everyone has a place to learn, compete, and succeed.
Days & Time: One weekday practice and Saturday games
Registration Opens: August 29
Season: October 19 – February 6

Age(s): 3-4 (4U), 5-6 (6U), 7-8 (8U), 9-10 (10U), 11-13 (13U), 14-17 (17U)

ADULT PICKLEBALL LEAGUE
Experience one of the fastest-growing sports with divisions for all skill levels, from beginner to 4.5. Multiple league options ensure everyone has a place to play and compete.
Days & Time: Mon.-Thurs. Nights 5:30-9 p.m.

Season Begins: September 14

Fee: $100 per Doubles Team, $75 per Senior (60+) Doubles Team

BABYSITTERS TRAINING W/ PEDIATRIC CPR
The American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training with Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course prepares youth ages 11-16 to care for children and infants safely and confidently. It includes hands-on activities, videos and discussions to develop essential real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course covers feeding, diapering, picking up and holding children safely and emergency response. We want to prepare participants well for emergencies, but CPR can be physically demanding, and participants should ideally weigh at least 85-90 pounds to participate in this portion of the course. Successful completion awards a 10-year Babysitter’s Training certificate and a 2-year Adult and Pediatric First Aid/ CPR/AED certificate

BUG BOUTIQUE: BUTTERFLY PINNING WORKSHOP
A two-part Butterfly Pinning Workshop teaching the art of preserving and displaying ethically sourced butterflies. Participants will also decorate a frame to showcase their finished piece, creating a unique nature-inspired display.
Days & Time: Fridays, August 14, August 21, 6-7:30 p.m.

LITTLE EXPLORERS CLUB
FUN IN THE MUD
Get ready for a messy, hands-on adventure! Little Explorers Club invites toddlers and their caregivers to explore nature through sensory play, including getting dirty, splashing, and mud-based activities that encourage creativity and outdoor discovery in our parks!
Day & Time: Saturday, August 15, 10-11 a.m.
Location: Peters Park
Age(s): 0-4
Fee: $5 per child

KEEP HENDERSON BEAUTIFUL DAY
Give back to the community during this volunteer cleanup and beautification event. Help remove litter, improve park spaces, and support efforts to keep natural areas clean, safe, and enjoyable for all.
