Tucker Youth Council

With the beginning of the school year comes the opportunity for students to join the City
of Tucker’s first Tucker Youth Council. Participants will assist in the City’s decision-making process, create projects and community activities, and help shape Tucker’s future. The Tucker Youth Council will serve as a voice for the City’s adolescent residents.

To apply, students must be in their sophomore through senior years of high school and reside in the City of Tucker. Participants must also commit to a full year term and may reapply at the end of their term. The Youth Council will meet once a month, September through May, on a schedule to be determined by the Youth Council at their mandatory kick-off orientation.

Students may apply for the Tucker Youth Council online at tuckerga.gov/youth starting in early August for a two-week window. Interviews with City staff will be conducted in late August and early September and the Youth Council will launch in September. Please email info@tuckerga.gov with any questions.
