Tucker Connects
TRANSPORTION & TRAILS MASTER PLAN
The City of Tucker’s Transportation and Trails Master Plan project aims to enhance the city’s transportation infrastructure by building on the 2018 Strategic Transportation Master Plan, 2019 Trail Master Plan, and 2023 Comprehensive Plan. This project will provide a comprehensive review and analysis of the city’s transportation and connectivity issues, focusing on major corridors, intersections, school zones, and access management. By integrating detailed technical analysis with proactive community involvement, we aim to address the challenges posed by regional and local travel demands. The project will also evaluate transit, pedestrian, and bicycle systems to ensure a holistic approach to transportation planning. A dedicated trail network will be developed to offer alternative connectivity options and reduce vehicular traffic. Our objective is to create a more accessible, efficient, and sustainable transportation system for all residents. Through coordinated recommendations and prioritized implementation strategies, we strive to improve the overall quality of life in Tucker.
