Mayor & Council
Tucker voters elect the Mayor and City Council. Tucker’s City Council is comprised of six members who represent three districts and a Mayor who serves the entire City. These seven members have an equal voice in governing the City. Council members serve four-year terms. Every other year, three Council seats are up for re-election. The Mayor runs for re-election the year after a presidential election. Mayor and Council are term-limited via the City Charter.
The City Council appoints the City Manager, City Attorney and City Clerk.
