City of Tucker to Hold Swearing-In Ceremony

Tucker City Council Swearing In.TUCKER, Ga. (January 14, 2020) – Three of Tucker’s City Council representatives will be sworn in for a new term tonight before the first meeting of the new year.

District One representative Bill Rosenfeld, District Two representative Noelle Monferdini and District Three representative Anne Lerner were all reelected to a second term last November. Only Rosenfeld faced opposition. Each councilmember represents their district’s Post Two, meaning that in the City’s first municipal elections in 2015 they were each elected to serve a full four-year term.

The ceremony is part of a busy night for the Mayor and City Council. They will hold a work session beginning at 5:45. That will be followed by the swearing-in ceremony at 6:30. The regular scheduled, bi-monthly City Council meeting starts at 7 o’clock.

Tucker Municipal Court Judge Steve Nicholas will preside and administer the oath of office at tonight’s swearing-in ceremony.
