Brockett Elementary
• Students and parents at Brockett held a Walk to School Day on October 13 to celebrate the walkability of their school community.
Livsey Elementary
• The Livsey PTO put on its annual Whooo’s Reading fundraiser, bringing in nearly $24,000 for projects at the school. Students pre-K through 5th grade read a collective 151,698 minutes.
Midvale Elementary
• The Midvale PTO will host a Spirit Night on November 9 from 5-8 p.m. at Blue Ribbon Grill.
Smoke Rise Elementary
• Smoke Rise was named an Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Distinguished School. This prestigious honor is awarded based on the success of educational programs and student progress.
Tucker High
• The Tucker High School Foundation will hold its annual Casino Night virtually on November 6. For tickets and more information, visit the Foundation’s website.
