Idlewood Elementary
• Idlewood is embracing the spirit of the giving season by hosting a Food Basket Giveaway, a Holiday Wish List and Winter Coat drive, and the student council will collect holiday items for patients at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Livsey Elementary
• Livsey’s Walk to School Day was very successful, as over 200 students walked to school on October 6, and Ms. Osbin’s fourth grade class won the Golden Shoe award for their participation.
Smoke Rise Elementary
• Smoke Rise is hosting their annual Giving Tree. Sponsors will provide gifts to children in need. From November 28 to December 9, sponsors can stop by the school to select a leaf ornament, and all gifts are due to be returned by December 12.
Tucker Middle
• Tucker Middle’s Ms. Amber Clinton is recognized as the 2022-23 Middle School Teacher of Excellence and will receive this award at the 85th Annual ITEE Association Conference.
