Livsey Elementary
• Three Livsey Elementary students won the DeKalb Watershed Management 2023 Art Calendar Contest out of over 100 entries. You can find Grady Denton’s art in January, Daniella Bae’s in March, and Emory Williams’s in November. Congratulations to our students and thank you to art teacher Mrs. Beauvais!
Smoke Rise Elementary
• The educators of Smoke Rise Elementary will bring their experience to the National ESEA Conference in Indianapolis on February 1. They will lead a presentation detailing their climb from a Focus School in 2015 to a nationally recognized Distinguished School in 2021 and teaching attendees their strategies for success.
