Brockett Elementary
- Brockett got into the holiday spirit, hosting a very successful toy drive in December. Thanks to generosity of parents, faculty and the community at large, they collected over 200 toys to donate to Toys for Tots.
Livsey Elementary
- Livsey’s fifth graders attended an outdoor education field trip to Camp Jekyll 4-H Center on Jekyll Island, one of the barrier islands located along the Georgia coast on November 18-20. This was a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about the unique Georgia coast through hands-on experiences.
Midvale Elementary
- Midvale is spending December giving back to the community. They started the giving season by collecting and donating socks to a shelter for women and children. Next, they turned their focus to their Midvale family. Through their annual Giving Tree, they were able to provide much needed items to Midvale families in need.
Smoke Rise Elementary
- The SRES National Jr. Beta Club took first place in the Songfest category at the Georgia Elementary Beta Convention. They are now eligible to compete at the National Beta Convention in Fort Worth, Texas this summer.
