This month marks the 51st annual Earth Day celebration. Communities around the world will take time on or around April 22 to think about Mother Nature and what can be done to better serve and protect the planet.
Here in Tucker, the City and its partners have been laying the groundwork for an ambitious Earth Day event; likely the biggest ever seen in these parts. The event, happening from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturday April 17, will encompass all parts of the City, and will combine the concepts of recycling, education, and beautification.
